RainForest

Who are we?

Located in La Liviniere, we are winemakers with an environmentally friendly cultivation technique.

How long have we been around?

Our financial participation in environmentally related works dates back to 2002.

What do we do?

We donate a certain amount of centimes per bottle sold to institutional charities of which the Rainforest Foundation is one of the principle beneficiaries.

Why do we do it?

We want to reach out beyond the confines of our daily work and help other places profit from what the earth has blessed us with.

In addition, we believe that fighting against the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest is a worthwhile approach in fighting against global warming and its consequences.

A larger membership could bring us a greater influence over the press and hence give us a stronger voice on the subject, helping us share our know-how and make us known with the consumers.

Objective

Beyond our daily work, our desire is to position us socially, not like an “exploiter” of the Earth but more like a link in the "human chain", conscious of our role of being a part of something more important.

What we have already made - in numbers.

Moral code

We believe in having a moral dimension to our work, taking into account our responsibility in the wider picture. We don’t wish to simply serve consumers, but work in parallel to help safe guard the planet, humanity and indeed life itself.

Who is likely to be interested in our approach?

Buyers are becoming increasingly conscious of adding value to their purchases – fair trade and the environment being two major concerns.
